After being loyal and very happy customers of Thompson St Albans for the last few years, we got inspiration for myhusband’s 60th birthday….. to take advantage of the most amazing at home dining experience with Phil.It was a joy and privilege to see a calm, collected, professional chef working so expertly in a completely foreignkitchen environment. Within minutes of unpacking all his bits he was busy working on the canapés and ourAMAZING five course menu.
Phil was extremely respectful on the issues of allergies and food restrictions and went on to produce a creativemenu, alongside imaginative wine pairing choices that impressed and delighted all 12 guests. Our guests especiallyenjoyed the detailed narrative that Phil gave with every new course and every new bottle of wine.The additional waitresses were more than worth their money for the evening. Having these two really meant thatmy husband and I could enjoy the experience fully.
Phil and team left the kitchen sparkling …. I would never even have known that they had been there.It was a magical experience, and we won’t ever forget it. Thank you.
